Lovely flowers, my favorites, I can draw
flowers all day. Their not so easy to make into
stencils, especially if your trying to keep to
1 or 2 layers.
Having said that there are so many to choose
from that you'd never run out. Also each one is
different so you can't get two the same, even
if it is drawn by the same person.
Leaves are really useful for providing accents
and interest to a flower stencil and they also
look great on furniture.
The most popular flowers in my collection are
the Iris and the Lavender, which both look
stunning where ever you put them.
A few years ago I needed to upgrade my kitchen
but couldn't afford a new one so I used the
Iris on on the kitchen cupboards and the iris
border around the room just under the cornice.
What a difference!
If you use the right paint, I recommend Shiva
(Markel) Paint Stiks, you can also stencil onto
fabric. The lavender is so pretty on whte bed
linen.
