| Open Question: Room Lettering for Boy and Girl? |
My daughter has a sign on her door that says "Zoe's Room" but we couldn't find one for our son that says "Isaiah's Room", so we're going to take Zoe's down.
Instead, I decided to buy wooden letters, paint them, and we'll put them up above their door or above their bed.
The place we went to to get them didn't have any A's left, so right now, Isaiah's name is ISIH, lol.
Anyway, I did Zoe's pink with a purple border, and Isaiah's are plain blue and I was going to do some stencil painting overtop. My husband doesn't like that idea and thinks that the plain blue is too boring. He thinks I should do the same purple border as on Zoe's on his.
What do you think? Purple border or stencil paints, and if the stencil paints, what should I stencil on?

A pale yellow, on the darker side is the colour of his room. We decided against painting the kids' rooms until they were a little older and showed interest in something, such as a television show. We will be painting our daughter's room soon. She will have a bright yellow wall to go with dark purple bedspread.
And no, they won't be sharing.
